Michael Villmow und Gunther Tiedemann präsentieren ein kurzweiliges Programm aus eigenen Jazzkompositionen und Improvisationen über die 1. Bach-Cellosuite. Es geht den beiden Musikern nicht um "swingende" Bach-Themen, sondern um den assoziativen und spielerischen Umgang mit dem Material. Dabei kommt es zu strukturell sehr dichten bis hin zu augenzwinkernden Momenten. Die Abwechslung von Solo- und Duo-Besetzungen mit Saxophon, Cello und Tasteninstrument bereichert die Farbigkeit des Programms.
